The ALLEEGRO® Growing Soil

Clasen & Co's ALLEEGRO® Growing Soil is a foundation stone of our
ALLEEGRO®-Quality Concept. The most recent evaluation report (March 2008) confirms its high quality. ALLEEGRO® Growing Soil is an optimal mix of brick dust, sand, volcanic ash, porous shale, and organic additives that meet the FLL-Standards (Part 2/2004).

The finest soil culture

The many mineral and porous components give ALLEEGRO® Growing Soil a stable structure with a very high capillary volume. Its even soil structure makes for optimal conditions for root growth.

ALLEEGRO® Growing Soil also has impressive water retention capacities, with over 50 vol.-%. This is very important for protecting the trees against water stress and encouraging root growth in the growth periods.

The porous nature of ALLEEGRO® Growing Soil means that it drains easily and prevents water-logging.

Further advantages:

  • Prevents soil slurry due to a low amount of clay and silt.
  • Supports rapid growth due to a balanced relation of nutrients.
  • A high air volume with high drainage capacity guarantees optimal conditions for year-round growth, particularly for extreme locations where air circulation is a problem (road-sides and cities).
  • Easy to handle and transport due to low density even when maximally saturated – saves time and money!
  • Reduces the risk of secondary pests (e.g. European Oak Bark Beetle).

Summary:
Clasen & Co's ALLEEGRO® Container Trees grow faster and healthier and look better thanks to the high quality of its ALLEEGRO® Growing Soil.
